This supplemental notice explains how TeinGo processes student papers in the AI Exam Reading feature.
Document priority: This notice does not change the exam paper clauses in the Privacy Policy or Terms of Use; it explains them at feature level. The
Privacy Policy controls the general data inventory, and the
Terms of Use control user responsibilities.
1. Data Processed
- Uploaded exam paper images or PDF files
- Questions, answers, scores and the teacher-provided/generated grading rubric
- If anonymous mode is off, student name, number or similar information visible on the paper
- Processing status, error records and security logs
2. Purpose and Limits
Data is processed only for AI-assisted preliminary evaluation, teacher review, result display and optional report sharing. TeinGo does not present AI output as the final grading decision; teacher review is required.
3. Teacher/Institution Confirmations
Before uploading papers, the user confirms that the required notice has been provided, the appropriate legal basis/permissions exist, unnecessary personal data will not be uploaded, and the final score will be approved by the teacher.
4. Data Minimization
- If anonymous mode is enabled, student name and number are not read or stored.
- Unnecessary or sensitive data such as national ID, address, phone or health information should not be uploaded.
- If auto-delete is enabled, paper files are removed after grading completes and paper photos cannot be displayed in the report.
5. Sharing Links
If a report sharing link is created, anyone with the link can access the relevant result. Accidentally shared links can be invalidated through link regeneration.
6. Retention and Deletion
Exam paper data follows the Privacy Policy's retention approach: auto-delete is available, and relevant content is removed at latest when the exam or account is deleted. Invoice/transaction records required by law may be kept in de-identified form.
